BetMGM lets Alberta players bet on eight named sports; Ontario players can open accounts and use selected SGPs, with Android and iOS apps.
BetMGM lets Alberta players bet on Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Golf, Boxing and Soccer. In Ontario, players can open a BetMGM account and use selected same-game parlay options; Android and iOS apps are also available through their respective app stores.
Which sports can you bet on, and in which province?
Start with your province before comparing sports or bet types. Players in Alberta can bet on sports at BetMGM, with coverage including Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Golf, Boxing and Soccer. Players in Ontario can open a BetMGM account, so Ontario readers can then check the available selections before building a wager.
These statements apply to the named provinces, not automatically to all of Canada. For a wider brand overview, see Should you choose BetMGM in Canada?
How do BetMGM same-game parlays work?
In Ontario, an SGP combines multiple selections from the same event, while an SGP+ adds straight selections or SGPs from other events. Check the sport and selections before building the wager because both options are limited to selected sports.
| Feature | What it does | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Same Game Parlay (SGP) | Combines multiple selections from one event. |
|
| Same Game Parlay Plus (SGP+) | Combines at least one SGP with additional straight selections or additional SGPs from other events. |
|
These features suit you if you want to combine selections, but they are less flexible when your preferred sport is not selected for SGP or SGP+. You can also read the safer gambling guide for limits and support options.
Can you use BetMGM on Android or iPhone?
Yes. The BetMGM Android app is distributed through Google Play, while the BetMGM iOS app is distributed through the App Store. The iOS app is about 128.1 MB, so check available storage before installing it on an iPhone. Choose Google Play for an Android device or the App Store for an iPhone, then check storage on iPhone before downloading. See the BetMGM app guide for the platform details.
